Current Openings: Position: Bookkeeping Professional Supervised by: Office Manager Purpose: Handle day to day accounting needs for the firm Qualifications · Minimum 3 years experience in the accounting or bookkeeping industry AND · Thorough understanding of accounting principles and applications · Expert in QuickBooks · Excellent Excel, Word and Outlook skills · Strong mathematical and analytical skills · Ability to maintain confidentiality · Ability to meet multiple deadlines · Effective communications skills · Experience in financial planning/investment management accounting/bookkeeping is a PLUS Primary Responsibilities · A/R & A/P · Daily banking activities · Bank balance and bank transfers · Accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable · General ledger reconciliation · Produce periodic reports · Work with external CPA and auditors on questions · Post monthly commissions received for all companies · Create monthly and annual commissions for planners · Calculate accurate payouts · Create monthly and annual summary statements for · Produce commission summaries by the 5th business day each month · Create invoices for clients for quarterly billing · Create internal invoices for planners and staff · Process fees from custodian to TrustCore · Maintain physical and electronic records · Maintain accounting supplies Secondary Responsibilities · Mail: pick up, sort, prepare outgoing · Assist receptionist as needed Performance · Accuracy and efficiency of produced work · Attitude and teamwork · Appearance of work area · Ability to meet deadlines · Feedback from coworkers and planners · Innovation of current procedures · Introduction of improved or expanded services · Level of understanding of organizational goals · Meet goals within time guidelines Position: Client Services Representative Supervised by: Office Manager Purpose: Handle day to day client service planner related issues for the firm Qualifications · College Degree or equivalent work experience · Minimum 5 years of client service experience in financial industry - preferably in Broker/Dealer (BD) and/or Registered Investment Advisory Firm (RIA) · Understanding of investment accounts, registrations and compliance · Ability to maintain confidentiality · Maintain accuracy and professionalism in all dealings with clients and planners · Ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand environment · Ability to meet multiple deadlines · Ability to prioritize multiple tasks · Ability to understand all aspects of the business · Ability to communicate and interact professionally with other employees, planners, and clients · Ability to change priorities and responsibilities as required · Professional Licenses: Series 7, Series 63, Series 66, TN Life & Health Insurance, Paraplanner Designation Responsibilities · Assist planners in answering client questions which may require research · Assist planners in completing required forms · Prepare packages for planners to present to clients, including marketing material · Work with planners to create meeting agendas · Work with clients to get additional information needed for Planning and Quarterly Reports · Prepare client information for distribution among office departments · Scan client documentation into the system · Handle client requests when planner is unavailable · Coordinate client process by following up on paperwork/tasks for planners · Serve as a central point of contact for planners with questions about client services · Assist client with accessing their accounts · Maintain up-to-date mailing lists · Maintain client address changes · General office support as needed Performance requirements · Accuracy and efficiency of produced work · Attitude and teamwork · Appearance of work are · Ability to meet deadlines · Feedback from coworkers, planners and clients · Innovation of current procedures · Introduction of improved or expanded services · Level of understanding of organizational goals · Meet goals within time guidelines To Apply: To be considered for a staff position, please forward your resume and salary history by one of these methods: On-line: E-mail your resume to our Office Manager at colleen.rizzo@trustcore.com Fax: Your resume to our Office Manager at (615) 522-5385 Mail: Your resume and cover letter to our Office Manager at the address below: Ms. Colleen Rizzo, Office Manager TrustCore 105 Westwood Place, Suite 400 Brentwood, TN 37027-1015 |
