Mikael joined TrustCore in 2010 after obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with honors while specializing in Investment Management.  Prior to his graduate studies, Mikael was a senior consultant with a health care firm in Durham, NC where he partnered with health care providers to develop strategic and medical staff development plans, helping these organizations achieve their long-term objectives.

As a financial planner at TrustCore, Mikael now uses his experience with strategic planning and knowledge of financial markets to help clients achieve their business and personal goals. Taking a comprehensive and relational approach, he examines key areas such as retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, education funding, and investment management.  Mikael’s goal is to help clients approach their future with confidence by assisting in the critical area of financial management. 

Mikael is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner designation through the College for Financial Planning. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Furman University, where he graduated with honors. He and his wife, Ashley, make their home in Nashville, TN.
