Mikael joined TrustCore in 2010 after obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where he specialized in Investment Management.  Prior to his graduate studies, Mikael was a senior consultant with a health care firm in Durham, NC where he partnered with health care providers to develop strategic and medical staff development plans, helping these organizations achieve their long-term objectives.

As a financial planner at TrustCore, Mikael uses his experience with strategic planning and knowledge of financial markets to help clients achieve their business and personal goals. Taking a comprehensive and relational approach, he examines key areas such as retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, education funding, charitable giving, and investment management.  Mikael’s goal is to help clients approach their future with confidence by assisting in the critical area of financial management. 

Mikael is a Registered Securities Representative, a Licensed Insurance Agent, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™practitioner.  In addition to his Master's degree, he received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Furman University, where he graduated with honors.  He and his wife, Ashley, have a young daughter, Sinclair.
