Among Ehren’s clients are many medical and dental professionals, and the financial plans he creates with them reflect the changing landscape for healthcare professionals in compensation, taxation and risk management.

Ehren, who has been working with medical and dental professionals since 2003, likens a financial plan to a map or GPS device used to navigate during a trip. Without a written plan, he believes, there may be a destination in mind but not the step-by-step guidance to get there.

He works with each client to create and meet professional, individual and family financial goals.  He believes the planning process, is not only about clients advancing and protecting their wealth but an expression of their compassion and love.  Through planning and foresight his clients provide not only for their families during their lifetime but also through a lasting legacy.

In some of his recent work with clients, Ehren:
 

• helped a couple, both physicians, create a long-term strategy that will allow them to retire earlier and spend more time working in under-privileged areas.  He also consolidated their investment accounts to make them more manageable while significantly decreasing the fees they paid.


• assisted a dentist to negotiate a retirement package that allowed him to retire early and on his own terms. Ehren also helped the dentist and his wife restructure their assets and reduce their debt. That allowed the wife to retire the following year, two years ahead of her expected date.

Ehren is active in the community, serving as chairman of the fundraising committee for the Green Hills Rotary, and as Finance Committee co-chair and Stewardship Council member for McKendree United Methodist Church. He is also active with the Nashville Civic Design Center and Meals on Wheels.

Ehren and his wife, Caitlin, live in Whites Creek with their two children, Stewart and Olivia.
