Barry began his TrustCore career in 2006 with our Planning Department. He gained valuable experience creating comprehensive financial plans, analyzing client portfolios, and developing implementation alternatives to meet the needs of TrustCore clients. Prior to joining TrustCore, Barry specialized in 401(k) and Employee Stock Option plans at a large national brokerage firm.
Barry takes a comprehensive approach to financial planning by integrating each aspect of a client's financial picture into their overall analysis. To help meet his client's goals, Barry develops an extensive roadmap by reviewing current investment assets, liabilities, cash flow, employee benefits, insurance, education goals, healthcare needs, and future windfalls. Barry also works closely with his client's other professional advisors in order to coordinate tax and estate planning needs. He believes that his approach paints a realistic financial picture for his clients and gives them the confidence that comes with preparing for the inherent risks of the future.
Barry is a Registered Securities Representative, licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, and a Level II candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. He graduated from Florida State University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Bachelor of Science in Finance, and a Certificate in Financial Planning.
Barry and his wife Mindy made Nashville their home after moving here from Destin, FL. Mindy is an elementary school teacher in Williamson County.
