Kemp joined TrustCore in February 2002 after gaining insight and experience from a management career with a major corporation.

Kemp takes a coordinated, comprehensive approach to financial management, giving advice on investments, retirement planning and college planning. He also provides strategies for insurance, debt management, employee benefits and cash flow. He is dedicated to the success of his clients and stays focused on their needs. Kemp frequently speaks to businesses, schools and associations on different aspects of financial planning that affect the "up and coming" market. 

Kemp recently earned the Certified Investment Management Analysts® designation awarded by the Investment Management Consultants Association. The program culminates in a week-long advanced investment consulting course sponsored by the IMCA and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is one of only 4900 in the U.S. and Canada to have earned this designation. The CIMA® education has enabled him to add value to his client's investments by using institutional level concepts and tactics.

Kemp was the first person in Tennessee to earn the Certified College Planning Specialist designation. He makes available some unique strategies to solve the college funding question and to help pay for K-12 private education. He designs each strategy to meet the particular needs of each client and student. He believes it is very important that a family plan for college without derailing liquidity or retirement.

Kemp graduated from Rhodes College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1995. He earned the CFP Certified Financial Planner designation and is a graduate of the College of Financial Planning CERTIFED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional Education Program.

Kemp is a native of Nashville and he and his wife Stephanie are the parents of three boys.
