Before coming to TrustCore in 2010, Owen provided investment research and planning support to producers in the Investment Services department of a regional bank.  Currently as Supervisor of the Planning Department, Owen oversees not only the daily activity of the Financial Planning Professionals, but also the integrity of Trust Core’s Client Management System.  In addition, he collaborates with Planners, developing financial plans, monitoring client portfolio performance and supporting both financial and investment planning.

Owen graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a Licensed Agent in Tennessee for both life and health insurance, and a Registered Securities Representative.

Outside work, Owens’s passion is caving, an interest which started for him in childhood.  From 2008-2010 he served as Treasurer of Nashville Grotto, an organization for caving enthusiasts in middle Tennessee.  Owen and his wife, Anna, have two precious children and live in Nashville.
